Timelox 2300 Win

 

 

The TimeLox 2300 Win system is designed mainly for medium and large sized hotels, and consists of a main PC and a card encoder for encoding time limited magnetic cards. We can also offer a wide range of optional features which are described further down in this description.

 

The most known Property Management System (PMS)

can be connected to this Timelox system, thus providing

a convenient and efficient way of dealing with the daily front desk routines.

 

It is also possible to integrate a Point-of-Sales system (POS) to the Timelox system. Timelox has delivered the 2300 Win system to all the major hotel chains in the world, such as Hilton US, Sheraton, Holiday Inn, Westin, Best Western, Four Seasons, Radisson and Scandic.

 

 

System design

The basic system set-up is a main unit, consisting of a PC and a card encoder. A standard magnetic card (manufactured according to ISO or ABA norms) is issued at check-in, containing encrypted information such as hotel identity, time limitations, room number and additional door access.

 

The door unit will – once the card has been inserted

– read the data on track 3 of the magnetic card and

grant access to the correct room.

 

The system can be expanded with a large number

of check-in stations.

 

 

The 2300 Win system offers you

   is locked from the inside by a signal

• Each 2300 door unit can operate for 2-3 years

   on a 9 Volt alkaline battery

• When power drops, a battery-low alarm signal

   alerts the staff

• The 2300 encoders also indicate the guest room

   number during the encoding process.

   This is important when two check-in stations share

   one encoder.

The Timelox 2300 system is also avaiable as 2300 Lite when a single check-in station is all that is required. Most of the other 2300 features such as PMS interfacing are avaialble.
